Who's that lady?
Who's That Lady? (WTL) was founded in 2021 by First Lady Iris Austin, affectionately known as Lady I, of Higher Heights Community Church in Sacramento, CA. Here's what she has to say about Who's That Lady:
"The Who's that Lady movement has changed my life. The connection with other women who are just like me, has given me a sense of hope and allowed me to break down walls of trust that I've built throughout my life's journey. 2021 was a year full of challenges and setbacks. Women across the nation were carrying the heavy weight of the world on our shoulders. The 1st WTL Conference themed, "What's in Your Bag", was right on time for me. The release of stress, worry, regret, shame, etc. was just what I needed to propel me into my next; and believe me, I had no idea what that was going to be at that time. As I moved into 2022, released, I'd found a new hope. At the conference that year we were reminded by many powerful women that while we are all messed up, we are still favored by God, and we know this because He said so and because of His redemptive grace. We are "Flawed but Favored". Understanding His love for me even with all my flaws, I was motivated to press on into 2023 because God had revealed to me that He's making all things new. And I see it! I can see Him at work in me, through me, and all around me. I will continue to pursue Him as well as all the new things that are in store for me in 2024. This year, we will share an expression of the confidence and hope we have in Christ Jesus as we expose our inner and outer queen... the masterpieces that our God created. I can NOT wait for the Who's That Lady Fashion Show so that I can share some of what He's done for/in/through me and to hear what He's doing for you."
