2024 "My Young Adult Me" Summer Youth Camp

Higher Heights Community Development Corporation (HHCDC) is hosting its first summer youth camp for youth ages 12 -17 years old.
By attending this camp, youth will gain clear sight of their plan for their young adult years (age 19-25). “My Young Adult Me” is an opportunity for the youth to engage in enriching activities, develop valuable skills, and forge lasting friendships in a safe and nurturing environment.
During this summer camp, the youth will be reflecting on how they want to show up for their future selves as well as attending workshops in job preparation, college readiness, financial literacy, and etiquette.
At the conclusion of this camp, the youth will celebrate their accomplishments and share what they have learned at a formal reception on Saturday, August 3, 2024. At the reception, they will receive a certificate of completion, a $100 stipend, and a backpack and school supplies to prepare them for the 2024/25 school year.
HHCDC has space available for 20 youth participants. Youth are expected to attend every day to receive all of the benefits of the camp.
